20,000 political activists to move to state in 2015-2016?

Bill Tucker flagged this over on MiscellanyBlue.  The Free Staters are agressively trying to hit their 20,000 “mover” mark in 2014, which would trigger them all to lemming into New Hampshire.  They have almost 14,000 people pledged to move here now.  I'm sure there are probably some in the 20,000 who won't move when the […]

Would you buy vegetables from this guy?

If you owned a business, would you name it the “Democratic Grocery Store” or “Libertarian Hardware”? I mean, how dumb would that be? Well, we now have the “Free State Farm” CSA (community supported agriculture). Welcome to Stupidville. In the comments section at this link, a very interesting legal document was posted by Jan. Meet the Candidates – Manchester’s Free Staters and other Friends of Liberty

"The Top Ten Reasons The Mafia Is Better Than The State" That’s the title of a rant written by Emily Sandblade, co-winner of the Manchester primary yesterday for Ward 11 alderman.  She’s a Free State Project immigrant from Washington State.  Here’s a picture of her burning a Federal Reserve Note – I guess she wants […]

HB540: No more annual inspections

I haven’t looked into […]

HB446: More Libertarian Ideology

I realize I’m a bit late to the table on this one, so my bad, but my comments here are less about the obvious shortcomings of HB446, and more about an insistance that there are several Republicans in the NH House that are actually ideological Libertarians. Regarding repeal of the State’s regulatory authority, licensing, for […]

I am a Reformed Libertarian

When I was in High School and into early college, I was a Libertarian. I was card-carrying- Libertarian Presidential candidate Harry Browne received my first vote in 1996. I was drawn to the idea of governing to the ‘Golden Rule.’ I assumed this would translate into my ideas of equality and rational governance. Clearly, I […]

A Poem for our Libertarian Friends

No snark intended. e.e. cummings was a World War I era poet and pacifist ambulance driver and like Hemingway had his own swagger. His shtick is the lowercase language extending from his poems to his name – but you really won’t mistake him for Don Marquis’ archie after a while. Edward Estlin Cummings also called […]

NH rejects GOP Nanny State ID Cards

The state Senate today voted to prohibit REAL ID implementation by the state. The national ID card has always been controversial here, but attempts to block it failed under Republican rule. The state GOP was unwilling to stand up to the Bush program. The federal police state bureaucrats are still threatening citizens, asserting that the […]
