I may not be able to do anything the rest of the day.
Henry (Hank) and I were good friends growing up in Brattleboro, VT. We sat with each other on the long bus ride to the High School, we had BB gun fights, played obnoxious music in public places.
By senior year, our paths starting to take shape, we did not hang out as much and we soon fell out of touch. But here he is reminding me of the true meaning of sacrifice and service.
To all that have served thank you.
To all of those that work to make sure our young people are only put in harms way as a last resort thank you too.
